Decorative radiator: perfect synthesis of technology and design

The most interesting projects by Antrax and Tubes for heating and furnishing with style

Like sculptures, contemporary radiators take on a decorative and no longer just functional role. They shed their technical aspect to play a new, different role: they are no longer elements to be relegated to hidden corners of the environment, on the contrary they are designed and chosen to capture the eye and fit effortlessly into the decorative context of the house. It is no coincidence that they are called decorative radiators because they heat, making the temperature comfortable but also helping to improve visual comfort. Among the most relevant reference brands are Antrax and Tubes which have involved prestigious designers to design, in synergy with the technical departments, elements that offer maximum performance and a refined design, adapting to elegant environments with a different style.

Antrax

Pettine by Andrea Crosetta

Form becomes functional in this radiator designed by Andrea Crosetta for Antrax and designed for both the living room and the bathroom. The shape is that of an enlarged scale comb (pettine in Italian) and on the wall it gives the effect of an artistic installation, thanks also to the over 200 color options available. In the specific case of the bathroom, the comb shape, in addition to being decorative, offers useful support for towels or clothing.

T Tower by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez

As the name suggests, T Tower is a tower whose appearance immediately evokes that of a beam. Its industrial profile, however, is tempered by the gentle proportions and colors in which it is proposed which make it furnishing and captivating. It is a sculptural presence that blends with the furnishing and decoration project of the environment.

Waffles by Piero Lissoni

Master of essential elegance, Piero Lissoni has designed a radiator with a material appearance for Antrax. The surface is textured and recalls that of a waffle, but this formal idea also becomes functional in better distributing the heat. In the version designed for the bathroom, Waffle features a wooden handle that warms up its style and provides a useful support for towels and clothes.

Zero-Otto by Francesco Lucchese

Its shapes are sweet and rounded which is why Zero-Otto represents an innovative example of gentle design applied to radiators. In addition to the comfort of heat, there is also olfactory comfort: in the single version, Zero-Otto also features a diffuser for essential oils.

Ti-q

Ti-q is a radiator with high radiant power capable of taking on different formal guises. Its shape is essential but thanks to the color options available it can visually blend in with the background or, with a play of contrasts, capture the eye and give character to the environment.

Tubes

Eve by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba

Eve is the refined evolution of the fan heater: it has a rounded body which has a cut at the bottom from which it emits light. It has a refined and familiar design; refined finishes and its dual nature of fan heater and lamp makes it suitable for all rooms in the house that require flexible thermic support.

Milano by Astori De Ponti Associati

Milano has a disruptive and evocative style that almost seems to recall the radical approach to design with its bold shapes. It can be installed vertically on the wall or as a countertop or horizontally and in all cases its architectural profile stands out.

Rift by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba with Matteo Fiorini

Rift is an extremely versatile radiator: it is offered in two modules of different widths and various colors that can be combined with each other. It therefore has a modular layout to which optional elements such as handles, and small shelves are added which make it perfect and functional.

Scaletta by Elisa Giovannoni

An ingenious idea for a functional and familiar-looking radiator: Elisa Giovannoni designs Scaletta (Italian for ladder) by borrowing the usefulness of the steps to transform them into a radiator in two variants, wall-mounted and centre-mounted.
